Lagan is about a 5-10 minutes walk from
the cottages. We can help you if you want to rent a canoe, a small
boat and buy fishing cards. Lagan is connected with the
Hjörneredssjöarna and forms a watersystem which gives the
opportunities for amazing boat- and canoe-tours. Feel free to make
stops and explore eny of the small islands on your way. Hjörnred is
one of the most beautiful areas in the surroundings of Laholm. There
are a number of ready-set overnighting sights if you want to spend
the night outdoors.
An experience out of the ordinary is
what you will get if you go out on a wildlife-tracking with Sverker.
You might get to see both moose as well as deer.
There is a barbecue site situated right
by the riverside, just a little bit away from the farm. Here you can
enjoy the evening sun and the peaceful water. One time we heard
Necken play.
A nice bath is possible at Gatesjön,
where there is both a jetty and a small beach. If you prefer the
ocean you can go to Mellbystrand which is only 20 km. away.
The autumn welcomes nice walks in the
surrounding areas. Bring a basket for mushroom and berries.
